Here's a little about me.

I am a qualified and experienced primary school teacher who has grown up in and lives in Crowthorne, Berkshire.

I have experience teaching in KS1 and KS2, including preparing children to achieve their best in end of KS2 assessments with strong results in both expected level and greater depth.

I am an English graduate who longs to share a love of reading and an ability to understand texts, convey interpretations and to write creatively, purposefully and accurately.

I have experience in supporting children with special educational needs, anxiety, trauma and neuro-divergence and always seek to nurture, reassure and build trust before we can start on any academic focus.

I have a current enhanced DBS.

I am a proud mum of three (plus my beagle). I am passionate about children wanting to achieve their best but most of all believing in themselves. Breaking through the barrier of self-belief, despite challenges and difficulties is the greatest key to success and will help children to want to find the best way to help themselves to learn.
